I love Allrecipes.com. It is where I get most of my recipes. I made these blueberry muffins and there were really good. The only problem that I had is that I didn’t buy enough blueberries. The recipe says 2 1/2 cups of blueberries and I only put in a cup and it’s not enough. So lesson learned, follow the recipe! lol

No Bake Pies
I’ve made several different kinds of cream pies and my favorite is peanut butter. They are all easy to make. The peanut butter cream pie is made with 2 cups of peanut butter, 1 8oz brick of cream cheese, and 1/2 of cup of powdered sugar. You can also use regular sugar if you don’t have powdered sugar. I put chocolate chips in my pie. I used a pre-made cookie crust, although you can make your own with crushed oreos and butter. Then just refrigerate for 1-2 hours. You can also put whipped cream in the mixture for a lighter texture. Super simple and easy and delicious.
I’ve also created strawberry and blackberry pies. The cream made from Tealightful creams where you add either cream cheese or sour cream to the mixture. I used strawberry cream and black raspberry cream for these pies. Then I just put pieces of strawberry, raspberry or blackberry in the pie mixture and on top. I used the same cookie pie crust as the peanut butter pie.
Chocolate Cream Cheese Crescents
I saw this recipe on pillsbury.com and thought these looked so good. I love chocolate and cream cheese, so this is perfect for those cravings. The hardest part for me was trying to figure out how to roll them properly. I just bought the pillsbury crescent rolls from the store. The only thing I would say about this recipe was I was expecting the dough to be fluffy but the dough is very dense once it’s baked. Here is the recipe Chocolate Cream Cheese Crescents

Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies
These cookies were a huge hit and are delicious. I got this recipe from AllRecipes.com. When I made these, I used a different caramel than what the recipe called for and they didn’t turn out the way that I wanted. I wanted the caramel to be melted enough where each bite you got a piece of caramel. I cannot figure out how to make that happen. If anyone can figure it out, then please post it here. I used chocolate chunks from Trader Joes instead of chocolate chips
I used this special caramel from Trader Joes, but they were very hard to use.
Doughnuts is one those time consuming recipes. It is a two day recipe, so you will need to plan ahead for this one. You make the dough the day before because it must rise at least 2 times the size it is when you make it. When you are putting all the ingredients together, you will need “active” yeast and they come in this little packets that are like .99 cents at the store. I was thinking that this little packet isn’t going got be enough. But 1 packet is enough for whole recipe. You do have to mix the yeast in warm milk, which I thought was odd, but again it works.
Also, when you have made the dough, you have to put the dough in a greased bowl. This is very important!! I didn’t understand why at the time, but its something that makes your life easier later. Make sure you really grease the bowl, go overboard if you have to!! The next day when the dough has risen, it’s really hard to get out of the bowl if you don’t have it greased enough.
Once you have the dough out of the bowl, you just have to roll them out on some flour. I will say that you have to make sure you don’t roll the dough out too thin because the doughnuts won’t be fluffy and they don’t cook well if they are too thin.
The frying isn’t as easy as you might think. Some recipes say fry them for 2-4 mins, this is way too long. It should only be a 1 min on each side max. As soon as they turn a light brown, you need to take them out, otherwise, they will become dry or soggy. But once you have it down, its pretty quick. You do have to pat off the grease off every time or they can become soggy that way as well.
You have to make sure the oil stays at the same temperature, otherwise, the doughnuts won’t turn out right.
Ive used a couple different recipes but Pioneer Woman’s is the best. I love her and everything she creates. I have all her cookbooks. She makes everything in the simplest way possible and I just love her shows on the food network. Here is the website for Pioneer Woman’s Homemade Doughnuts

Homemade Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting
So I have this list of things that are difficult to make and cinnamon rolls from scratch is pretty high on that list.
I used Epicurious‘ recipe mostly because I really wanted to try the cream cheese frosting!!
Let me tell you, they are not hard to make, they just are very time consuming. You have to make the dough a day in advance. I would have to say, the part that I had a hard time with is when you are trying to roll the dough into a roll. I learned that you really have to roll the dough tightly, otherwise, the cinnamon sugar starts to come out and it gets very messy. Also, if they are loose when you are putting them into the pan, when they raise, the sugars starts to fall out into the pan and again it’s a mess.

Here are the rolls after I put the frosting on the top. The cream cheese frosting is amazing!! Just like Cinnabon!!

I had to put them in the fridge and I will say that you need to warm them up when you eat them again.
